CETAFLAM® BC SERIES - Application by Backcoating

Range of synergistic halogenated compounds for application to all fabrics by back coating. Products are custom designed to meet individual requirements.

The Cetaflam® BC 4 range will be phased out during 2013 and replaced. This is due to the inclusion of Deca Bromo Diphenyl Ether (DecaBDE)  on the REACH SVHC list. DecaBDE is the core component of the Cetaflam® BC 4 range.

Ranges includes :- BC 4404; BC 4710; BC 447; BC 436

The Cetaflam® BC 6 series will supercede the BC 4 series. Please see product details in the relevent section.

CETAFLAM® BC 6 series of flame retardants using new generation bromine technology.

These multi functional ready to use compounds or additive formulations have been designed to meet the most stringent flame reatrdant standards, including BS 5852 source 0 & 1.

CETAFLAM® BC 6 series products allow the fabric producer to meet not only the highest flame retardant standards but also comply to the current REACH regulations. Additionally it will be possible to meet many consumer labelling scheme standards, for example OekoTex® 100.

The range is fully adaptable to meet clients application condiitions.

CETAFLAM® BC 6528 is solvent based an economical flame retardant for all fibre types and blends, giving good durability. Gives excellent results when used in printing pastes and inks when applied with a suitable cross linking binder.

Halogen containing universal flame retardant additive to blend with existing waterbourne binder systems.

CETAFLAM® BC 647 is an economical flame retardant for all fibre types and blends, giving good durability when applied with a suitable cross linking binder.

CETAFLAM® AD 868 is a novel, non-halogen powder blend of organic and inorganic flame retardants.

It is ideal for inclusion in back coating formulations and should be blended with a suitable binder system to give the required flame retardant performance and fabric handle characteristics.

Halogen free waterbourne concentrate of phosphorous flame retardant which is virtually insoluble in water and organic solvents.

It can be blended into existing waterbourne binder systems and used as a base for intumescent coatings.
