CETALAN AV dyes

The dyeing system for wool, polyamide and silk

Introduction

CETALAN AV dyes are metal free, allowing production of sustainable textile articles.

CETALAN AV dyes are used for dyeing wool, polyamide, silk and wool/polyamide blends.

CETALAN AV dyes are also ideal for wool portion of blends with polyester, cellulosics and acrylic.

CETALAN AV have good migration and wet fastness properties and fill the gap between acid levelling dyes and milling or 1:2 metal complex dyes.

CETALAN AV dyes are applied at pH 4.5 – 5.0, being the iso – electric region for wool this gives the best protection for the fibre.

CETALAN AV dyes are characterised by brightness of shade allowing a wide area of colour space to be covered with a limited number of dyes.

CETALAN AV dyes are ideal for yarn and piece dyeing.

CETALAN AV dyes have fastness properties on untreated and chlorinated wool which make them suitable for IWS care levels D + H even in dark shades.

CETALAN AV dyes are dissolved by pasting with cold soft water then pour over boiling water. The solution should be sieved on addition to the dyebath.

#Tri-chromatic combination with the best solidity of shade between the wool and polyamide
#LEVECET WNA is recommended as a nylon reserving agent to improve partition between the wool & polyamide fibres. This should be added at the beginning of the dyeing cycle when setting the dyebath.
